I'm back from our trade show we attended in Guadalajara, Mexico and things went very well. The show was TECNO Mueblo International 2008 , a furniture wood components show. We were invited to attend through the State of Oregon,s Economic Development International Trade Orginization and The American Softwood Export Council. These are two wonderful orginizations that help promote business and are behind our efforts to bring Western Juniper into the marketplace.Thanks for the help.
We are going to be making a few changes. First off we will be adding a "Registration Page" to access our retail prices. We currently have one for wholesale pricing. We have been doing direct sales to the consumers which we will continue to do on a more local basis. We now have several large distributors that will be bringing in Juniper to local lumber yards and of course our own yards that we work with. The purpose of the registration page is to be able to see were our customers are and to help them find a local dealer. This will save you time and shipping costs. We will still be selling retail to our customers if they are local and if they are not able to find what they want at one of our other locations.....some of these locations are not carrying all of our products or are just taking orders. You can find some of our dealers on our "Dealer Locations Page" at the menu on the left of each page. If you have a problem getting what you need, by all means get a hold of West Coast Juniper and we will make sure you are takin care of.
One thing of excitement is that Jeld-Wen - Windows and Doors is now producing a juniper door for their markets. Every now and then we get questioned on the stability of Juniper. With Jeld-Wen now making doors you can see that juniper is a very good lumber for manufacturing. We are very excited about their new venture. West Coast Juniper is continueing to grow. In today's market place and the evolving green movement we are probably one of the only lumbers that is maintaning price and having growing sales. This is very exciting we have been working very hard to educate the public as to all the positive aspects of purchasing juniper lumber. And there are many.
